Secondary Glazing

Some properties are not able to have replacement windows fitted i.e. listed buildings.

Secondary glazing can be fitted with the added benefit of not disturbing your decor as they are fitted to the existing framework. Another benefit is the reduction of sound. This can be achieved by creating a larger 'air gap' between the existing window and the secondary. If you require further sound reduction, this can be achieved by using 'stadip silence' glass which will reduce sound transmission further. Styles available are : -

  • Horizontal sliders for conventional windows
  • Vertical balanced sliding sash for existing sash windows
  • Lift out system for small windows
  • Hinged systems
